PP Christodoulos Achilleoudis, RGHF’s Representative for Cyprus, delivered the 2 special RGHF plaquettes

To the President of the RC Nicosia-Lefkothea Paris Constantinouas the 1st RGHF Club in the World for at least 2 100% rotary years(since 2009), 

and to the President of the RC Kyrenia Savvas Constantinou,

as the 2nd RGHF Club in the World for at least 2 100% rotary years (since 2016). 

The Immediate Past President of the RC Kyrenia, Andreas Petrou, whose Rotary year managed this record.

 

The plaquettes were delivered during a big gathering organized by the RC Kyrenia on October 17, 2018,

with members from all other 5 Rotary Clubs of Nicosia participating. 

Speaker of the night was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Dr Nicos Christodoulides

Eddie, We'll miss you

We are sad to inform you that RGHF Founding Member PDG Eddie Blender passed away on Saturday October 28, 2017. Eddie leaves a great legacy with his lifetime of great Rotary Service:

- He was a Founding Member of Rotary Global History Fellowship-RGHF.

- Eddie was a leader for the funding of Rotary Peace Scholarship Learning Centers around the world.

- He was also the Founder and Editor of the RGHF Rotary Foundation Newsletter.

He has also contributed in many other Rotary Service Projects. Eddie was deeply philanthropic and generous with his time, talent and treasure, and was determined to make the world a better place. He was an engaged and passionate human being who will be remembered, and missed, by many all over the planet.
